    Unexplained 500 Internal Server Error

Sorry If I placed this in the wrong forum.

Anyway, An Internal Server Error just started appearing on all .htm files I had uploaded. Other files, such as images and php files work fine. The weird thing is, I didn't do anything to cause it. It just started happening. I checked the error logs and all of them are caused by "file has no execute permission" errors. It's not really a big deal because I only use .htm files when I'm building layouts or whatnot. I'm just curious to know what could have caused this.

Make sure your server knows that .htm and .html files are the same.

Or, just rename your file extensions to .html before uploading.
