    New here!

Hello! New around here! I have made a clan website, its not half completed yet but the URL is www.csndg.tk! What I would like is if anyone can give me some tips on making nice websites and where or how I can get/make nice graphics! The navbar on the left of my website isn't nice, I know that but I do need some ideas for nice flash buttons!

I know www.flashbuttons.com has very nice flash buttons, but it includes a ad underneath..so I prefer making buttons myself!

But enough about buttons, any nice layouts to reccomend or guidelines to follow?

Well for starters you can simply do a search at google.ca for all that free stuff and layout designs and the how-to's, but ya know, making your own stuff is always better I think. Mind you, no harm in using other's stuff... to get yourself started.

Now, FYI... the very top and side images/nav/title (basically everything on that page except the main context) does not show up in NS 4.7 But IE's fine. and so is Opera 6.
That fading text you have on your context part can be seen in NS and IE but does not show up in Opera.

Also, the top section with all the black and your fiery title is good. You gotta do something about that black part tho. Putting that into tables and the like and just making the background of the cells black would be one example/solution. However the fact that you can see where your side nav and your title section meet and it being so obvious.. well, heh I'd try and fix that

It's a little difficult to see those white words behind that green screened 'screen' above the nav and when you mouse-over the different nav links, and you get that (I think it's really neat) swirling, colour effect, that might not be the best way to go with all those colours.. perhaps only one colour change...?
Gets a little disorientating after staring at it for a few moments longer... even mesmerizing.

On the plus side? You're off to a good start
Oh and why not try using a CSS file?
