Internet Explorer print without Header/Footer Line

How do I remove the Header line and the Footer line that IE adds to the HTML document when it is printed, using JavaScript or HTML code?

    Thank You

    Hi,
maybe the answer is at the end of this thread:

In my IE (MacIntosh), I can simply choose to print headers and footers or not in IE's File >Print Preview.
Isn't there such an option in Win/IE?

of course it is possible to do it manually but how can it be done automatically using code in an html-page ??

Can the page-setup settings be altered using code in the html page ??
