    Something from KRON

    There are about a million things I could say in response to this video, but I think I'll just let it speak for itself. As they say, write your own caption.

    My favorite part is the subtitle that reads "Owns Home Computer."

    Hah, my favorite part is how long it takes to download + the telephone charge. Ouch.
    PHP Code:
    header('HTTP/1.1 420 Enhance Your Calm');
    Been gone for a few months, and haven't programmed in that long of a time. Meh, I'll wing it ;)

    The reality is, most of what was scoffed at in the article, has actually come true! The Newspaper industry has been decimated by the internet. While the $5 / hour charge seems like a lot. I vividly remember the days of AOL, when you got 20 hours / month plus you had to (usually) pay long distance charges to access the internet. Ah, those were the days.

    I remember those AOL days too, but I was already on the anti-AOL bandwagon and used only Compuserve.

    The Descent Ladder was bloody good times. Paying long distance phone charges to connect modem-to-modem, 1-on-1 dog fighting. Gaming has never been that good since then (and never will be).

    Compuserve - now there's a name from the past. pity about the other one not being so.
