    Exclamation Oh, snap! Laid off

There went three of the best years of my life. If any of you have a chance to work for Skyfire Labs in the future... take it.

Oh, well. Back to the pavement.

    Oh no, thats terrible mate
I'm sorry to hear about that. I think you can probably find a replacement soon ^.^
Oh, you can move up here! We have a job opening in our CIS division! You'll need to be OK with -50c winter temperatures though...

Sad to hear that. I know how it looks like. Two years ago we were in our Christmas + New Year Holidays, and when we came back to work we were told that the firm went bankrupt.

But all the bad went towards good, as I have found a better job in a couple of months. Better job and better payed.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, haha. Usually when you're laid off, you don't tell people to try to work for them Either way, sorry to hear it, but luckily from what I've seen and heard, great job opportunities are still around for experienced, qualified individuals, despite the unemployment percentage.

I was unexpectedly laid off 2 years ago which resulted in getting an awesome job a month later. Still here and loving it, so hope the same happens with you!

Absolutely not! Skyfire really was a wonderful, wonderful company to work for, and they still have several openings. My position was eliminated for cost-cutting purposes.

Yeah I'm getting laid off too, last day is the 18th. They were kind enough to give me 60 days notice.

Our CEO is being hailed as a hero though, so that's good.
