    Exclamation Dot folders

What do they signify and why do I get them every time I post?

They signify that you've posted in a thread, as a reminder maybe, that's all, nothing scary or to worry about.

If you've ever read Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson, you should know all about the black dot...!

Yup, my fave authors are Terry Pratchett, Tom Clancy, and Michael Crichton

I remember in my first year at primary school (age 5 or 6?) the other kids were learning ABC and I was reading Oliver Twist... my teacher had a heart attack when she realised I was actually reading it... I got put up two years as a result

See, my mum is a teacher so I got taught all that stuff real early on.

    So, yeah, I love reading

Don't worry about it I was up and down like a yo-yo I went to about 7 different schools coz my family kept moving (coz of my dad's job) and some schools allowed me to move up, others didn't...

The UK edu system is a darn sight better than the US edu system, but it still sucks

In the end I wound up teaching myself most stuff, which was actually a very good thing you actually LEARN that way! lol!

I have it on good authority - I know several Americans. No insult was intended.

Just ask joh6nn - he'll tell you all you need to know about US education
