    That a banner example, which isn't Flash.

    To make flash stage transparent, then you just have to add the wmode parameter in the embed code. Look at my signature for a post on embedding Flash properly for details.

    Thanks for your intervention. However, I don't understand what to do!

    I downloaded file swfobject, which is actually a folder and I loaded the FTP site, in a directory like www / swfobject /
    Then, the index file I wrote the following code:
    <head>
    <title>SWFObject Example</title>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
    <script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject/swfobject.js"></script>

    <script type="text/javascript">

    var flashvars = { // These are variables which are passed to the Flash document - they have to be already defined in the SWF
    buttonText: "Press Me Please",
    imageURL: "tehnium-azi.gif" // Don't put anything after the last ", if you add more variables use a comma to separate entries but leave the last entry without one, same applies to the params and attributes
    };
    var params = { // Parameters for display
    menu: "false",
    wmode: "transparent" // a common request to make the
    };
    var attributes = {
    id: "newID",
    name: "newID"
    };
    // 1 - Name of file to load, 2 - ID of DIV to replace with SWF, 3 - width, 4 - height, 5 - Minimum Flash version, 6 - Express Install (if not using then place false), 7-9 - sends the arrays
    swfobject.embedSWF("myContent.swf", "myContent", "300", "120", "9.0.0","expressInstall.swf", flashvars, params, attributes);

    </script>

    </head>
    <body>
    <div id="myContent">
    <p>Alternative content</p>
    </div>
    </body>

    Why not work? A little help please.

    Maybe a link to this page? Do you have a swf file named that in the folder of this html page? Make sure the files are correctly uploaded as well.

    I created a file with the name myContent.swf and I loaded in FTP www / myContent.swf
    Then I wrote the code from post 2 above in the index file, even under footer. It displays only "Alternative content".
    However, not working?

    I would like to know if I wrote well in the post code of 2 above the following line or path GIF image?
    imageURL: "tehnium-azi.gif"

    Well it just sounds like SWFObject isn't being loaded, have you checked for JS errors?

    Your imageURL is fine IF the image is in the same folder as this file. A like would be better if you could show me?

    jeremywilken, sorry, but not understand on what site you see to forgot that conclusion ? To do so, I have rewritten code above and I try a test web sub domain named: ipb.tehnium-azi.ro
    The code below I copied after that <% BOARD FOOTER %>
    PHP Code:
    <head>
    <
    title>SWFObject Example</title>
    <
    meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
    <
    script type="text/javascript" src="ipb/jscripts/swfobject/swfobject.js"></script>

    <script type="text/javascript">

    var flashvars = { // These are variables which are passed to the Flash document - they have to be already defined in the SWF
    buttonText: "Press Me Please",
    imageURL: "http://www.tehnium-azi.ro/tehnium-azi.gif" // Don't put anything after the last ", if you add more variables use a comma to separate entries but leave the last entry without one, same applies to the params and attributes
    };
    var params = { // Parameters for display
    menu: "false",
    wmode: "transparent" // a common request to make the
    };
    var attributes = {
    id: "newID",
    name: "newID"
    };
    // 1 - Name of file to load, 2 - ID of DIV to replace with SWF, 3 - width, 4 - height, 5 - Minimum Flash version, 6 - Express Install (if not using then place false), 7-9 - sends the arrays
    swfobject.embedSWF("myContent.swf", "myContent", "300", "120", "9.0.0","expressInstall.swf", flashvars, params, attributes);

    </script>

    </head>
    <body>
    <div id="myContent">
    <p>Alternative content</p>
    </div>
    </body>
    After that, I copied the file myContent.swf in path: www/ipb

    I don't understand this question:
    A like would be better if you could show me?

    Sorry I meant 'link', which proves that you have a lot of errors with the way you've embedded your Javascript links.

    Your scripts should all be in the HEAD of the document, its good practice and you've just got a lot of errors. You also cannot have two <head> tags, so fix your HTML file and it should work.

    http://validator.w3.org/check?verbos...nium-azi.ro%2F

    See this link for some help, but you also have a million JS files on this site, are they needed? Can you reduce that, because you might also have just TOO MUCH going on, but I know for a fact that your SWFObject file is not getting loaded because of all of these errors.

    And I meant that you need to look at your browser for Javascript errors. It should tell you if there are problems, in IE there is a little icon in the bottom left and in Firefox there is something under Tools called Error Console.
