    Sunlight beams (animated)

At the moment i have a picture at the top of my flash project which is a orange sky. What im trying to do it put animated light beams and possibly sparkles on top of this image.

Can anyone tell me how i should be doing this (in lamens terms) or point me in the direction of a tutorial. Ive tried good-tutorials.com and a few others but i cant find what im after.

    Thank you,

    James

    Hi,
Basically you can do the sparkle effect in the following way:
    1. create a shape, something like a little star (you may even give it some animation)
    2. give some fade-in/fade-out effect.
    3. duplicate it manually or using some scripts

    tutorial on creating the sparkle

For the sunlight effect, you could go for a round shape and some vertical strips with gradients (for sun rays. ) and give some animation.

Alternatively, you could just make a shape with radial gradient (the 3rd ball look) and make it fade-in/out.

Just search for 'flash effects' or some similar keywords in case you need more.
