How to code sfc to be automatic

Do I make a .bat file; I dunno. I want it to run sfc like once a week. any information will be helpful. my friend is good at visual basic. But I want to do it myself. How can I do it? I have windows 2000 and the sfc will be: sfc /scannow. I think I need to make some code to tell it to run on saturday to.

just type this at the command prompt

    c:\>at 5:00am /every:saturday /interactive c:\tasks\sfc.bat

and in sfc.bat put your command.

or, you can just type this

    c:\>at 5:00am /every:saturday /interactive sfc /scannow
