    Computing Controlled Assessment

For my computing contolled asessment I need to do research one of the ways recommended is using forums. How effective is high level or textual programming (such as Python or C++)?

"forums" or "forms"? Forums you can create using whatever back-end language you want (eg project types aspx(.net), jsp(Java), php, etc) + database (TSQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc). Can you please clarify you question? "What" you are asking in both threads is a little unclear- also please avoid double/cross posting.

    Validate: html CSS
    Debug: Chrome FireFox IE

Forums as in what this is so somewhere you can ask questions. And to clarify for both so how effective is high level or textual programming (such as Python or C++)? and how effective is block programming (such as Scratch or BYOB)?
I mainly mean how precise and concise it is put another points of view such as ease of use and how easy it is to learn.

I don't understand what you are asking- are you saying you have to do research on a way that a forum can be created? Why limit yourself to Python or C++? Really it comes down to picking a database, and a server-side code. You can do this via .aspx, .asp, .jsp, .php, etc. Could you elaborate on the question?

No its a lot simpler its about using forums to gain other peoples knowledge and opinion on how effective is high level or textual programming (such as Python or C++)? and how effective is block programming (such as Scratch or BYOB)?

So you are kind of making a poll? So the question is really two part...
    1) How effective is high level or textual programming (such as Python or C++)?
    2) How effective is block programming (such as Scratch or BYOB)?
Correct? If so you might get more/better responses now.

Please for the love of god stop opening new threads and new user accounts. A google search of your question pops up other forums where you are doing the same thing (opening the same thread over and over again under various names- kinda broadcasts that it's you when you respond to the thread under the wrong original poster name o.0)
... from the response post in the other forum...
So what are your thoughts on the question? What has your research discovered?

I haven't been posting under various names. Although lots of people will be asking the same question as it is for a Computing Controlled Assessment and we all have to find our own research on forums.

Albeit hard to believe, that is plausible; however, the fact still remains this same question is being asked all over the place and just re-worded. Asking the same question a bunch of different ways isn't going to change the results. I think you've gathered as much as you will.
