    C++ Desktop Programs?

    Sorry, if this sounds like a noob question, but I'm pretty new to this forum. I just have a question regarding C++. I've been making console applications with it for a while in CodeBlocks, but now I would like to try and create some desktop programs. As far as I have seen there is no way to create a desktop program using C++ in CodeBlocks, so how would I go about making desktop programs with C++?

    Well you would need some kind of GUI SDK. There are various ones to choose from. I particularly like Qt as I can make a GUI that will look and feel the same on every platform if I wanted. And they have a free and opensource version that you can use by itself or include the add in component and use it with Visual Studio.
