    help with a friends computer

    so I went over to my friends house and installed 2 programs on his computer

    Native Instruments Guitar Rig 2.0 and Sony Acid Pro 6.0

    but neither of them work guitar rig gives me an error saying cpu needs sse or altvisa ( sorry not spelled right) and sony acid gives me an error saying



    Could anyone help me

    SSE = Streaming SIMD Extensions, which are similar to MMX and 3DNow! Intel designed the technology and integrated it into their Pentium III CPUs.

    If your friend has an Athlon XP or newer, there should be SSE support.
