Folders just open the command line (Windows)
I restarted my computer today, and when I did i found that folders now open up a command prompt with the location of the folder ready to go. Also, they have different icons (as does the recycle bin). I get the icons to change back to their usual by going into Desktop > Properties > Settings, and changing the colour depth and then changing it back.
This is becuase a while back, I installed a Vista transformation pack... decided I didn't like the look at all, and uninstalled it... After the uninstall everything seemed normal but when I restarted my PC yesterday it was like this (I only restart once every 1-2 weeks)
I have managed to overcome the most annoying bit by addin an action to folders called 'Explore', making it the default action and having it run explorer.exe.. I did this through the Tools > Folder Options > File Types dialogue.
I have restarted since, and when I restart, the icons change back again so I have to do the colour depth thing.
I really wouldn't mind at all, except that this method means that all folders open in a new window which is very frustrating as I prefer to have them all opening in the same window.
Any ideas how I could restore it to what I had originally?

Did you create a restore point before you installed the vista pack?

the vista pack said it created a restore point, however when I tried to restore from there it said it couldn't do it... I'm not really sure why, but it went through the whole restore process and then said something about nothing being changed.
