    Well if you are on a router you can access your admin on your router and block out almost all sites and then just add one site to allow.

    thanks for the replies,
    i have found freshui and a registry setting to remove the address bar from the computer. i'm doing this for a corp. that wants to give the users acces to one web site only. they do not want to set up a intranet but this should allow me to get the job done.

    i have found freshui on my own a while back. i had like version 1.0 so it was a bit out dated. i went and redownloaded it and got a lot more security then i thought i ever would. as for the regestry file i tryed to use codingforums but could find nothing.... i then searched the web for a while and then i found what iexpoler uses as a dll for the adderss bar setting is located under
    "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{01E04581-4EEE-11d0-BFE9-00AA005B4383}\InProcServer32"
    delete (%SystemRoot%\System32\browseui.dll) found on http://windowsxp.mvps.org/IEFAQ.htm

    One quick and dirty fix that I used for a site that refused to work in Firefox and so had to be viewed through IE.

    Tools->Internet Options
    Connections Tab, Click Lan Settings
    Under proxy server fill in some false information
    Click Advanced
    In the box 'Do not use Proxy Server for addresses beginnig with'
    Put in the address of the site you want to be able to access.

    If they try and go anywhere else the browser wont be able to contact the non-existant proxy and so will fail.
