Nice comp, man. Seems a little pricey, though, eh?

Not when you consider that that system would normally cost about $1700 to $2200...

    Hrm, 1,082.00 USD = 609.035 GBP

I built my new PC for £1200 -
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Dual core 2.2ghz with HyperTransport (Socket 939) dual core.
    2GB PC3200 DDR 400 RAM
    2 x 250GB Seagate 7200RPM HDD
    1 x 74GB Western Digital Raptor 10,000 RPM HDD
    Sony Mulitlayer, Multiformat DVD burner
Ati Radeon 9550 256MB AGP graphics card
    19″ Samsung SyncMaster LCD
Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition with Service Pack 1. I want the x64 edition :cries:

All inside an Antec Soho edition file server case with 500W Antec TruePower PSU. I built it on an Abit AV8-3RD EYE motherboard.

    Runs pretty damn sweet

My current computer was on a par to that (before I upgraded with nice shinies from my old PC) and I picked it up for £300 at a computer fair

The real expense you've got there is office pro - which retails for over £200 inc vat. When you could get open office for free.

I got the parts from, ummmm.. Sheesh, it's been so long I don't remember. I built the machine nearly 3 years ago.

I got all my software free, though, so that helps the price.
