Panda cuts off my Internet Access

I have adsl at home... my modem's a four way... and my network cable connects to tha modem. Since I installed Panda Antivirus on my computer I have not been able to load up any pages at all....

IIS will load up the page but no pages from the internet will load... I just get "Page not found" all the time.

My hosts file has the line:
    127.0.0.1 localhost

is that ok? What could be my problem?
I'm gonna find a way to download the internet if its the last thing I do...

erm dont some of panda's security packages contain firewalls? uninstall panda and then try it again. that might work - as it could have some type of lock on your pc's internet connection. Also remove any adware/spyware/BHO's and check your internet connection settings? Can you connect to the net o antother pc?

i know that Panda comes with Firewall settings weazel.... hint hint.... thats why i installed the product in the FIRST place!

The reason i installed the product is because my computer is being plagued with lots and lots of spyware... But i'm guessing that either I am not doing something right or so but i don't think its normal for that to happen. I KNOW that there is a firewall... and i've tried fooling around in the setting and adjusting a few things that I thought would change it. However it didn't.... so I'm jus wondering if there are any suggestions that you guys could make... u all tend to add perspective sometimes....

But other times... example in the case of weazel.... my first statement was "Since I installed..." so please... read carefully next time before asking questions that are nothing short of silly and uninformed...

You didn't state that it contained a firewall, so I just made a assumption.

Okay... it DOES have a firewall... the product is Panda Internet Security. My internet works perfectly when the firewall is disabled. When it is enabled, no pages load. I have tried fooling around in the settings for the firewall but nothing works.

Need some suggestions about what to do to get the problem fixed. Its truly a great software because the scan has gotten rid of most if not ALL the spyware i had on my machine (and trust me I have been searching for a formidable product). So I REALLY WANT this program to work. Please help

Have you made sure that the firewall is allowing Port 80 (HTTP) to have full inbound and outbound access?
