    No!

You cannot put a PCI card in an AGP slot and vice versa.

Why not get an AGP card - much better than AGP.

You can't fit a AGP graphics card in a PCI slot, however you can get PCI graphics cards etc (not on topic, but hey ) - He would need a new motherboard. Most new cheap motherboards have 3 PCI and 1 AGP - btw, I've never heard of a motherboard that has 2 AGP slots....

Maybe they read 2xAGP and confused it for 2 AGP slots

But on topic, You cant put a "new pci slot" on to an existing motherboard. Tell your friend that if he wants a graphics card that he should get an AGP graphics card because it is going to be better than a PCI graphics card.

If he goes out and buys a whole new motherboard thell him to get a motherboard that has a pci-e (pci express) slot and get a pci-e graphics card which is better than AGP.
