    no picture on monitor

When I boot my PC I hear popping sound coming from the monitor. There is no proper picture just lines appear on screen after flashing a few times.
I have tried rebooting several times but the same thing happens. It started doing this suddenly

The computer appears to boot up fully. The monitor is OK as i've tried it on another computer.
There is also a buzzing sound coming from the computer.

Does anyone suspect that the video card is failing or could it be something else.
It is a GeForce 7900 video card.
I am posting this with my laptop.

Maybe you can unplug your video card and plug in again to see if this works. You can also have a look if any display pin has bad contact or something like that. Hope it helps

    Kind regards
