I get this everytime I try to access my Google account even though ALL protection is turned off.

Any ideas. Google has not been any help at all.

Your existing cookie might be corrupted or they changed the name or format of the data in the cookie. Find and delete the goggle cookie.
If you are learning PHP, developing PHP code, or debugging PHP code, do yourself a favor and check your web server log for errors and/or turn on full PHP error reporting in php.ini or in a .htaccess file to get PHP to help you.

Thanks but I had already done this. The problem does not arise if I do not check the box to remember the account.

Oddly, if I tick the box to remember me, it refuses me with the message in the header; but posts a cookie. It does this every time I try and I land up with many cookies in the section.

Your post sent me in the right direction though.

    Many thanks.

Thanks borntoslow, but I only use it for testing. Anyway, at 83 years of age, the sites that I visit would probably bore them to death!!

    All joking aside...

google chrome spends as much time talking to the websites you visit and it does talking to its own servers. serious privacy issues on everything that goes through gchrome browser

They say its not that bad, but you can monitor the "chatter", and its obscene

    I agree.

Several times, after asking a question on CF, I have then gone to Google again with the same query, only to find that Google lists my CF question among first of the answers to my question. Quite a number of sites use Googles search engine. It's no wonder they pick it up so quickly.

Have you tried this in a different browser? Google chrome is beta level software and it still has a huge number of bugs in it.

    Frank,
Google reads the feeds from CF immediately on every update. See the google's FAQ http://www.google.com/help/reader/faq.html

    CF's RSS link => http://www.codingforums.com/external.php?type=rss.
You'd need some RSS reader (like http://sage.mozdev.org/) at your end to see this link,

    CFMaBiSmAd ,

I try the programs with IE7, Firefox3 and Safari as well as Google Chrome. Iuse Firefox as the definitive browser, but most of the people I know and know me, use IE6 or IE7.
Recently I have had problems with IE7 persistently closing itself down. I have just re-installed the OS which seems to have cured it.
