    Local business website cost.

I'd be very thankful if you guys could just answer the following questions, nothing long, I just want a simple idea.

    - Do you ask the client for how long they want website to be up for?
    - Do you discuss with them about the hosting and domain cost?
    - Do you ask the client, who just wants a website for his small local business if they want website in Wordpress?

or I just calculate everything by myself and tell them the total? and give them a little transcript of premium resources used domain, hosting etc..
    Ex.
    - Premium them; 30£
    - Hosting and domain for a year; 80£.
    - Setup; 30£(Assuming it wont take more than 4-5 hours(taking from a perspective of a beginner).

or can I just go ahead and tell them it will cost you about 140£ and let them know website domain and hosting will expire after a year.

Im no good with web building but id recommend lowering the cost of hosting, i got 2 years hosting & domain for less than £15! Im no good with websites but try make it all one flat cost e.g. website + hosting (including domain) for around £60 per year & in there footer add "Design by..."

    Hope this is okay

Clients budget and requirement are major questions to consider before you sent them quote.

For the first two question my answer is yes. I will definitely ask to them about this. I will not ask about the third question. If their need website for big or small business our responsibility is is to develop new site according to their requirements.

I will provide YES as my answer for the first two questions given by you h123er2 because one will decide the website based on the savings or investment he have decided to put in the business. So, first of all we should get answers from the customers for the first 2 questions given by you. After that only we can be able to start our work of designing website as without confirming answers for those 2 questions we can't start our work and also i think the third question is not needed.
