Did you search Google - there seem to be a lot of Australian web hosts who support ASP listed there.

    Why did you need Australian?
It really doesn't matter where a server is hosted unless you are really bothered about exchange rates and paying in a different currency.

That was the first thought that popped into my mind as well.

One advantage of Australian web hosting companies for those of us who live in Australia is that the support staff are on dayshift during the day and we don't have to deal with timezone differences when talking to them. Also if a site is primarily directed at an Australian audience then it will be faster if hosted in Australia.

I have two sites hosted with an Australian hosting company. One is located in Australia and is primarily directed at an Australian audience while the other is hosted on a server in the US because it is for an international audience.

I don't think you'd find many US hosting companies with servers in Australia.

I have servers based in Costa-Rica, Gibralta, Canada, US and UK. There is no notable difference between them because the internet is that fast that unless there is a major hold up you wouldn't notice the difference.

The fact that the backbone of the net are routed through only a few major points on earth such as london, New York etc. also contributes.

I could try to get to the BBC.co.uk website from the UK and could be routed through New york to get there.

I can't complain about your support point though, even though most of my experience has been via email/PM via the host CP.
