    Log-in form HTML query

    Hello

    Would someone mind, please, having a quick look at the HTML (it's only short) behind my log-in form Login Page?

    Even when I log-in with the correct credentials, I still get the 'Invalid password' error in both Safari (on Windows) and IE10. The username steveH and password teddy are correct, if anyone cares to try it.

    Code:
    <%

    sPageHead = "Login Page"

    Session( "final" ) = -1

    %>

    <!DOCTYPE html>

    <html lang="en">

    <head>

       meta tags
       <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html;charset=utf-8" />

    <style type="text/css">
    .center p {
    padding: 20px 0 0 0;
    text-align: center;
    }
    </style>

      <title><% = sPageHead %></title>

        <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/style1.css" />
        <script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js?ver=1.4.2"></script>
        <script src="js/login.js"></script>

    </head>
    <body>
        <div id="bar">
            <div id="container">
                <!-- Login Starts Here -->
                <div id="loginContainer">
                    <a href="#" id="loginButton"><span>Login</span></a>
                    <div style="clear:both"></div>
                    <div id="loginBox">

    <form id="loginForm" method="post" action="submit1.asp">

    <label for="checkbox"><input type="checkbox" id="checkbox" name="checkbox" value="checkbox"  />Remember me</label>
    </fieldset>

    <span><a href="http://www.bayingwolf.com/Dima_Login/password1.asp">Forgot your password?</a></span>
    </form>

                    </div>
                </div>
                <!-- Login Ends Here -->

     <% If Session( "loginFailure" ) = True Then %>

    <div class="center">
    <p><span style="color:#BD2CBB;">Invalid password</span></p>

    <p>Click <a href="password1.asp">here</a> to request your password</p>

    </div>

                 <% End If %>
            </div>

        </div>
    </body>
    </html>
    Many thanks!

    That’s not an HTML issue, it’s related to ASP. HTML is only there to display the content. Therefore, I’m moving this thread.
