can you have email adresses when using IIS and ASP?

    Hi,

I was wondering if it'spossible to have users that can get email adresses on your site. I don't have access to the server so that would be pretty much impossible for me to have third components and things like that before a while... I was just wondering if that's possible, I'm not asking for code examples or coding advices (at least not now... ). Well, I know how to send emails using CDONTS, but have no idea how to receive emails at an adresse like myusername@sitename.com

    thanx for answers

You'd need a mail client such as Mircosoft Exchange installed on the server or a server on the same domain/active directory.

Since it isn't your server you obviously can't install something like that, however you should ask your host if they already have it on there and if you can use it in such a fashion.
