    Question .tmp

Quick question - how long does a .tmp file remain on the server? Or how can you manage it - can this be specified to a certain folder?

I have created the file using getTempName() for a feature that could get used a lot (downloading appointments for the users outlook account)

Temp files remain on the server / client computer until

    a) Your code destroys them

    b) Your code overwrites them

    c) The server admin / cron job / scheduled task / user clears temp files.
