Meaning he wants to be able to execute ASP Code locally, but doesn't want to actually "run a server"?

He will need to run a PWS (Personal Web Server) in order to have his ASP code resolve correctly on his machine.

You can get to more information about this by following the link that the MODERATOR (Whammy) put in his post....about four up from mine.

P.S. IIS on Windows 2000 comes with a pretty detailed "ReadMe" file from what I understand, too!

    Internet Explorer

I know exactly what you are looking for, but a problem that comes with it. Before PWS and IIS, I had a small asp server. it run asp scripts (not all of them) and might of had a problem or two some how.

I think I found out about it on the old FWJ forums! If I can find the archives for it, I might find out what the name is.

I will start to look for it again now.

Give me a few minutes or so.
