Cron Job fails to find 'mail' command
CLOUDLINUX 6.5 x86_64 standard – svr128
WHM 11.40.0 (build 26)
My cron job fails and sends an email to the default email account with the following error.
/usr/local/cpanel/bin/jailshell: mail: command not found
mysqldump: Got errno 32 on write
I have altered one of my other sites cron job that performs a similar task, and now that fails when it was working before I changed it. All my other sites that have this cron job command are still working.
I have googled the error and find that cron job seem to be using a different method being jailshell and wondered if the mail command is called something else?
My command is very much like the following but i have * the personal details, username/password and such.
mysqldump -ce --user=site_user --password=myPassword site_databaseName | gzip | uuencode myFile_dbBackup_e.gz | mail -s "myEmailSubject" email@example.com
It basically gets all the tables in the database and gzip's it to the file myFile_dbBackup_e.gz and then emails it to myself.
I am thinking that maybe I need to update my command to take in to account the new updates on the server. But still can not understand why the cron jobs I already have are still working, can anyone explain a little more about how this all works or does not work please.
