DDOS deflate and iptables not working

Does anyone know what to do when DDOS protection doesnt seem to work?

Still one single ip address DDOSing server and nothing seems to block it.

    Thanks in advance.

do dnslookup on attacker adress and contsct his ISP.
there's not much you can do on your side. all you can do is blocking that ip using iptabls, but they will still send you requests. they will only get rejcted. that's the nature of DDOS.

but then again if you see that IP in srver logs, then your iptable rule isn't working (not that it would chang much if it would though)
